Sutherland Shire Council Design and Construct CDS unit at Cronulla

Optimal Stormwater did the feasibility and concept design for a CDS unit gross pollutant trap for a small catchment above Cronulla beach. Based on the results of this Optimal was invited to do the detail design and specification for the construction tender, which they did.

With all design works complete, Optimal Stormwater tendered on the construction works, and because of their skills and experience they were able to put in a very competitive bid, and so won the installation contract for the Ozone CDS unit as well.

The project contained the supply and installation of a P0708 CDS unit, plus insitu connection work to an upstream pit, plus the replacement of 13m meters of downstream pipework, a pit extension and new lid, footpath replacement, a new rollback kerb and some downstream pipe repair works.
