Mosman Council – Stormwater Harvesting Audit, Optimisation and Operation and Maintenance

Optimal Stormwater was engaged in late 2015 to provide the audit, optimisation and operation and maintenance the at Botanic Road stormwater harvesting scheme.
The scheme was suffering from very high PH a consequence of using recycled concrete as backfill for the stormwater storage tank. A number of attempts had been made to adjust PH with little success.
The Optimal audit recommended a comprehensive overhaul of much of the treatment process. Optimal delivered all the works including replacement of equipment, installation of a robust chemical dosing system, implementation of proper OHS equipment and housekeeping.
Recommissioning, validation and ongoing operation to support the project is also being undertaken.
