Lane Cove Council – Stringybark Reserve CDS Unit Design and Construction

In February 2020 Optimal Stormwater won the tender to design and construct a CDS Unit P2018 for Stringybark Reserve. As an alternative, Council was given the opportunity to design and construct an equivalent SPEL Vortceptor, also a high performance vortex type GPT. The Scope of Work included detailed design, land survey, services scanning, consultation with the authorities, community consultation, liaison with Rocla to ensure smooth delivery of the CDS Unit, construction of the CDS Unit, Grasspave2 driveway, preparation of Works-As-Executed drawings, Operation & Maintenance Manual and formal hand-over to Council. Council extended the Scope of Work to rehabilitation of the head of Stringybark Creek.
