Graduated Trashracks

Graduated Trashracks (GTR) are proving a highly effective technology for open channels and viable alternative to inground (wetsump) GPTs.  Often a lower cost option and ideal for large (plus 50ha) catchments the Optimal GTR technology delivers amazing performance. 

Preferential high-flow bypass is provided at the lower rack whilst blocking racks capture gross pollution and organics matt on the racks creating a temporary pond depositing large quantities of sediments in the forebay.  A pollutant storage bay allows gross pollutants to be corralled into the area and protected from loss due to the higher racks.  Many Councils are praising the benefits of this Optimal Innovation.
