Goulburn Mulwaree GPT Audit

Optimal Stormwater was engaged by Goulburn Mulwaree Council to perform an audit of 36 GPT and WSUD assets found within the locality. Alongside audit reports, data sheets, and one-page cleaning specifications, Optimal also produced a:

• Rectification plan for all the devices, which included priority of works and associated costs;
• Maintenance planning and budget spreadsheet which included a detailed breakdown of cleaning and maintenance costs per year to aid in Council budgeting;
• Set of design and maintenance criteria to eventually be incorporated into Council’s Standards for Engineering Works; and
• Overarching report and presentation to summarise findings.

Additionally, Council requested that Optimal perform a brief investigation of recent private developments to log and audit any GPTs that had not been entered into Council’s system. As a result, a further 5 devices were added to the scope of the audit after being discovered by Optimal staff.
