Central Coast Council Charmhaven & Long Jetty Depots Stormwater Infrastructure Audit and Management Plans.

Council Depots and Waste Depots are on the radar for many Councils to address stormwater management.  Industrial activities, waste management, plant maintenance and storage of construction generate high quantities of sediments, waste and debris and dust.  Optimal conducted a comprehensive audit of stormwater assets at the depots identifying constraints and opportunities to enhance current stormwater management practice. 

Many practical suggestions where offered capitalising on existing assets (eg ponds)  and concept plans developed for planning and budget purposes.  Stormwater and rainwater harvesting were closely considered and concepts developed for both sites. Operation and maintenance plans were updated and Council is now in an excellent position to demonstrate plan and deliver best practice stormwater management.
