Brimbank Council – Design & Construction of an Ocean Save OS2318 GPT

Optimal Stormwater completed the installation of one of OceanSave’s largest Gross Pollutant Traps at Station Water Reserve, which drains to Kororoit Creek in Deer Park. During the excavation, Optimal removed some rocks and boulders which were repurposed as features rock for landscape throughout the reserve. Optimal Stormwater designed and constructed a customed Ocean Save OS2318 GPT which was designed to take advantage of the hydraulic scenario with a drop offtake to have zero hydraulic impact, weirs to the roof and extra storage to give a total of 14m3 offline storage for the large 80 hectare catchment.
