Blackmore Oval Wetland and Stormwater Harvesting Project

After an arduous design journey Inner West Council sought contractors to deliver a hybrid design which repurposed an old RMS detention basin into an ornamental wetland and restore native flora and fauna to the site. 

Stormwater was to be harvested from a large urban catchment and for wetland restoration and supply of treated water to the local sports field.  An amazing outcome was achieved through cooperation and leadership from all parties involved.
